Student Sponsorship at Living Hope has grown over its 15+ years to where we currently have 190 students sponsored between 1st and 6th grade. We have over 160 families that sponsor one or more students. 

 

Sponsorship has two components: First, we encourage all our sponsoring families to engage in a meaningful pen-pal relationship with their student by sending them letters and Care packages a couple of times a year. The student replies with a thank you note and a picture of them with their packages. 

 

The second part, is a $40/month financial support that goes to the general school fund to pay for teacher salaries, school supplies and a hot meal each day. These funds go to support all students in the school, so all are supported equally.  We still have over 50 students available for sponsorship, mainly 1st and 2nd graders.
